What Is the Spring Forward Award?
The Justworks Spring Forward Award honors small businesses and nonprofits across the country that have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and a commitment to their communities. The award recognizes organizations that are not only focused on growth but are also creating positive change in their fields. As a nonprofit, Step Up Tutoring is honored to be part of this incredible group of change-makers.

Looking Forward
Receiving the Spring Forward Award is not just a recognition of what we’ve accomplished; it’s a reminder of how much more there is to do. This grant will help us expand high-impact tutoring to over 250 high-need Black, Hispanic, and low-income students, including a percentage of students who are also English Learners.
We are excited to build on our momentum and continue supporting more students. With the support of organizations like Justworks and our incredible community, we are confident in our ability to grow and create lasting change in the educational space. We are also grateful for the opportunity our Director of Development, Gabriella Schneider, had to attend the event and speak on a panel about how we leverage technology to drive social impact.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Justworks for this award and to everyone who has supported Step Up Tutoring along the way. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing to provide free, high-quality tutoring to students in under-resourced communities.
