With just 2 hours of your time each week, you can provide a student with the academic and social support they need to succeed. Our program is designed to be an easy way to make a difference and a fulfilling experience not just for students, but for you! You will tutor and mentor a student from an under-resourced community, all virtually, with flexible schedules determined by you.

LAUSD or AUSD Parents

Step Up Tutoring's 1:1, individualized learning program is designed to ensure your student succeeds academically — and has fun learning! Our volunteer tutors are vetted, eager to mentor, and partner with your student's teacher(s) to provide the best support for your student. We are currently accepting students in grades 3-6 from select schools. All tutoring is free to students and takes place virtually.
