The Public Policy Institute of California’s latest report suggests that California state will be about 1.1 million college graduates short by 2030, a significant workforce skills gap. Annenberg Learner and Step Up Tutoring announced a new partnership designed to address educational inequity and historic learning loss triggered by the disruption in education as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The effort will include recruiting 500 new volunteer tutors this spring.
